For more than 50 years, the Wilf Campus for Senior Living has been a trusted place of care, comfort, and connection for thousands of individuals and families. As we celebrate this milestone, we’re also looking ahead to what’s next.
Rooted in the same compassion and commitment that have guided us from the very beginning, we are now expanding to meet people wherever they call home.In 2026, The Wilf Campus will become Stein Care, a name that reflects both our legacy and our future. Through Stein Care, our continuum of services extends beyond our facilities into homes and communities, bringing compassionate, individualized care to individuals wherever they live and wherever the need exists.
Under Stein Care, our programs will continue to grow and connect with more individuals and families throughout New Jersey:Stein Palliative CareStein Palliative Care supports individuals and families navigating serious or chronic illness by addressing physical symptoms, emotional well-being, and quality of life. Our interdisciplinary team partners with patients (age 18 and older) at any stage of illness to manage pain, reduce stress, and provide guidance ensuring care is aligned with personal goals, values, and needs.Stein Hospice CareStein Hospice Care provides comfort, dignity, and meaningful connection for individuals at the end of life. Through compassionate medical and nursing care, dedicated caregivers, emotional and spiritual support, and ongoing guidance for loved ones, we honor each person’s journey and ensure they are surrounded by care, respect, and presence during life’s final chapter.Stein At HomeStein At Home delivers trusted, personalized clinical and supportive care in the place people feel most comfortable, at home. Whether recovering from illness, managing ongoing health needs, or seeking additional support to remain independent, our team meets individuals where they are, offering continuity, comfort, and peace of mind.
During 2026, oversight of Stein Assisted Living will transition as part of our planned evolution. This change allows Stein Care to focus on expanding programs that bring care directly into homes and communities, continuing our promise to meet people wherever they are in life.“As we mark our 50th year, we’re deeply proud of what we’ve built together and excited for what’s ahead,” said Jean A. Leone, Vice President of Operations. “Under new leadership, the assisted living will continue to embody warmth, belonging, and high-quality care, while Stein Care empowers us to expand our reach, bringing the same compassion, dignity, and excellence to individuals throughout the community.” As we look toward the next 50 years, the journey continues as it is built on trust, fueled by compassion, and guided by our commitment to serve. Our story is one of growth, gratitude, and lasting connection.Check back for more updates and stay tuned for our new website in 2026!
The Stein family has been an integral part of the Wilf Campus for Senior Living’s history and growth. Their longstanding commitment laid the roots for a warm, dignified, and enriching environment for older adults, an environment that our leadership team has continued to evolve, shaping the campus into the diverse and respected community resource it is today. Guided by values of compassion, philanthropy, and Jewish tradition, the Stein family has long supported the development of services that honor older adults with dignity, respect, and purpose, and now extends that same commitment to individuals and families of all ages who are in need.Their contributions have been instrumental in expanding programs, enriching quality-of-life initiatives, and ensuring that every individual receives exceptional care at every stage of their journey. Through their vision and dedication, the Wilf Campus evolved into a comprehensive senior living community that included independent living, assisted living, long-term care, and specialized programs that support wellness, cultural enrichment, and person-centered care. The Stein family’s legacy continues to be felt throughout the campus. Their support has strengthened the physical environment and fostered a culture of kindness, innovation, and commitment to meeting the needs of older adults and their families. Their history with the Wilf Campus is a testament to the impact that enduring community investment can have across generations.Martin and Edith Stein, of blessed memory, remain at the heart of our mission. We are honored to carry their legacy as we begin this new chapter as Stein Care.
